Sacred Heart offers families access to Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) programs through the ELC and OSHC services. The ELC caters for kindy children before and after school from 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday as well as Vacation Care and Pupil Free days from 7am to 6pm.

The OSCH service caters for children from Pre-primary to Year Six from 6:30 am to 8:30 am and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday as well as Vacation care & Pupil Free days from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.

The program fosters a child-centred ‘hands-on’ approach, with educators creating an environment and experiences which are stimulating, safe, nurturing and fun. This includes indoor and outdoor learning experiences, quiet ad active times, individual, small group and large group times based on student interests and developmentally appropriate needs.

The service will provide children will breakfast prior to 8.00am and provide children with a healthy afternoon snack upon afternoon arrival. During Vacation Care and Pupil Free Day sessions parents/guardians will be expected to provide lunch and a morning tea snack that meets the child’s nutritional needs.
